  • Stable fractures included Salter-Harris fractures, buckle fractures, and greenstick fractures. Unstable fractures included transverse, oblique, and spiral fractures and those that were comminuted or displaced. Surgical repair included open reduction, internal fixation, or percutaneous pinning. Type 1 supracondylar fractures were included in the Stable fracture group. Types 2 and 3 supracondylar fractures were included in the Unstable/Displaced group.
