The percentage of minority patients according to pediatrician race/ethnicity. The Native American group also included Native Hawaiians. There were overall differences between the pediatrician groups in the number of minority patients they had (F = 56.0; P < .001). Black or Hispanic pediatricians were more likely than Asian or white pediatricians to have minority patients (P < .001). There was no difference in the percentage of minority patients between black and Hispanic pediatricians (P = .999). Asian pediatricians had a higher percentage of minority patients than white pediatricians (P < .001).
