The left side of the table compares blind with nonblind infants, and the right side compares severely neurodevelopmentally impaired infants with those who were not severely impaired. Only those variables having a P value <.10 for at least one of the two outcomes are included in the Table. For continuous variables, odds ratios andP values are based on univariate logistic regression analyses.
