* The given subclassifications by clinical neurologic status are used when analyzing the results of the psychological assessment and the prevalence of learning difficulties as well as behavioral disorders. Prevalence of periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) (%) by clinical neurologic status is given here also. Subclassification into the preterm groups with PVL (n = 13) and without PVL (n = 28) was also used when analyzing the results.
↵† A preterm boy with Duchenne's syndrome included here but not in the subgroups because he could not be classified and one child with MND refused MRI examination.
