Odds of reporting clinically significant mental health concerns at 5 and 11 years of age for each infant regulatory profile. Scores of ≥17 on the SDQ total difficulties scale indicate probable, clinically significant mental health concerns. Analyses are adjusted for maternal sociodemographic characteristics (maternal age, marital status, whether mothers were born in Australia, whether mothers were NESB, maternal education, and socioeconomic disadvantage), child characteristics (child age, sex, birth weight, weeks’ gestation, NICU or SCN admittance, and birth order), and maternal mental health (K6 score of ≥8).
