AB For most asthmatics respiratory pathogens will cause an exacerbation of their asthma. Progresive bronchial obstruction is inevitable in affected patients although some patients may have more severe obstruction. The time-course in milder exacerbations is uniform when left untreated by the significant addition of anti-inflammatory medicine.
