AB  - The most significant datum presented in the paper by Judelson, et al (Pediatrics, 53:476, 1974) is that zoster immune globulin (ZIG) was made available to only a fraction of the children for whom it was requested. In the two years since these data were gathered, moreover, the supply of ZIG has not increased appreciably. This situation is particularly deplorable since the prognosis for children with leukemia, the major recipients of ZIG, is so much brighter.
