Abstract
To the Editor.—
It was with considerable interest that we read the article "Extraordinary Urinary Frequency" by Zoubek et al which was published recently in Pediatrics.1 Pediatricians frequently encounter children who have a main complaint of pollakiuria, the descriptive term which refers to an increase in the frequency of urination during a specified time period. We previously reported a small group of children with this complaint and discussed it's differential diagnosis and an approach to treatment.2
