Abstract
I sit here late into my Pediatric Internship, approximately 1 year after "The Match of 1989." I have just been up all night in the emergency department after reading the article, "The Pediatrician as a Role Model in the Career Choice of Medical Students"1 by Dr Strain, and the first question that I ask myself is, "Would I do it all over again if I had the chance?" In considering my response, I think back to college when I decided to pursue a career in medicine.
