Abstract
I am responding to the letter from Dr. Berenson and his colleagues at the request of the members of the Task Force on Blood Pressure Control in Children. Their comments and reactions to the letter are incorporated into this response.
The members of the Task Force would like to express their appreciation for the very thoughtful comments in the Berenson letter. It is encouraging to note that internists have become involved in the problems and challenges of blood pressure control in children.
