Abstract
A 6-month-old infant with chickenpox developed localized hypertrichosis surrounding chickenpox scars. This manifestation followed a mild and uncomplicated course of the disease. Transient localized hypertrichosis is not men tioned in the literature as a complication of chickenpox.
