Abstract
A case of Lesch-Nyhan syndrome is presented in which psychological evaluation revealed normal, intellectual potential. It is suggested that formal psychological testing, using a variety of modified instruments, may uncover other patients with essentially normal, intellectual potential. Such testing is essential in order to realistically plan programs of pediatric rehabilitation and to adequately study the effects of various treatment regimes.
