Abstract
I was most interested in the recent paper of Ray and Wedgwood which reported six cases of neonatal listeriosis, along with a review of the literature (Pediatrics, 34:378, 1964). In the article it is stated: "There are 63 welldocumented cases of neonatal listeniosis in the United States and Canadian literature."
It is surprising that in such a review article several recent reports have been omitted. Details of the additional cases of listeric infection in the newborn are being submitted in a summarized form (Table I) to complete the review for the benefit of the readers of Pediatrics.
