Abstract
Dr. John N. Kennell, in a Letter to the Editor, emphasized the findings of the study being conducted at Western Reserve on the emotional needs of mothers. He asks the question, "Who is going to give a mother the individualized quidance about child rearing that she wants? Do we pediatricians want to do this? Can we do this? All Pediatricians? A few pediatricians?"
These problems are not compartmented so that they can be taken in and out of pediatrics.
