Abstract
An unusual case of giant bullous and cystic lesions, occurring during the healing process of pulmonary tuberculosis of the adult type in a 7-year-old child is presented. The unusual characteristics of the lesions are discussed. This case represents the first to be reported in which giant bilateral bullous lesions developed during the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis in a child whose sputum and gastric washings were positive for tubercle bacilli on smear and culture.
