Abstract
The first case of juvenile idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis is reported. The disease is a well-recognized entity characterized by nonspecific retroperitoneal inflammation and fibrosis of unknown etiology. Fibrotic involvement of the ureters frequently leads to hydronephrosis.
