AAP Pediatric Hypertension Guidelines Calculator
The AAP Pediatric Hypertension Guidelines Calculator, which is based on the 2017 Clinical Practice Guideline for Screening and Management of High Blood Pressure in Children and Adolescents, is designed to aid primary care pediatricians and subspecialists in determining blood pressure percentiles at the point of care. The calculator aims to improve the early identification and treatment of hypertension in the outpatient setting.
The calculator was developed in collaboration with MDCalc, which specializes in creating evidence- and guideline-based clinical tools for providers to utilize at the point of care.
