In June 2010, the American Academy of Pediatrics endorsed the following publication: Renal Physicians Association. Clinical Practice Guideline on Shared Decision-Making in the Appropriate Initiation of and Withdrawal From Dialysis. 2nd ed. Rockville, MD: Renal Physicians Association; 2010.
