Pediatrics eFirst Pages Pediatrics eFirst Pages contains papers published online, in advance of appearing in standard issue of the journal. This allows the journal to release papers several weeks earlier than they would otherwise be published. When papers do appear in print, they will be removed from this feature and grouped with the rest of the papers in that issue. Articles appearing in Early Release have been peer-reviewed, edited, typeset, and approved by the author. They only differ from the final version in that, in some cases, they do not contain page numbers. Citing Articles in Pediatrics eFirst Pages: The publication date appears below each title, followed by the article's unique Digital Object Identifier. (More on DOI). Citations should include the publication date and DOI in place of the issue and page number. For more information on Pediatrics eFirst Pages, including examples of what a citation should look like, please see the editorial by Clarke and Lucey in the October 2004 issue of the journal. Media Embargo Information: Early Release articles are embargoed for media use until the day they are electronically posted. Please direct any questions about media embargoes to AAP Communications at 847-434-7877. |
