Re: children as sources of income

The three generation household is an anomaly created by the welfare system. Children, instead of being the most precious investment a society can make are born in order to feed their mothers and granmothers via the welfare system. Especially if they are sick with real, or factitious diseases. In certain neighborhoods of the United States eighty percent of children are fatherless. As long as it makes economic sense to raise fatherless children in dysfunctional homes this problem will continue to grow, and possibly swallow the decreasing minority of traditional households where the father is more than a sperm donor. It should be made clear to prospective grandmothers that no economic benefits are to be expected from allowing or encouraging their daughters to get pregnant.
