I definitely agree that children are not getting enough physical activity these days. Heart rate is a great angle to focus on because this will be a huge health factor as the child matures into adulthood.

I think there needs to include a focus on getting children involved in fitness programs that will teach children them at an early age the importance of healthy eating and physical exercise. There are numerous programs out there becoming increasingly involved with schools. It would be neat to have the children study their own heart rates to see the differences from being sedentary to physical.
