We would also like to bring to the notice of the author that we have seen a case of thrombosis of the iliac vein on the left side with osteomyelitis of the Femur. The child blood cultures were sterile but the child responded to Cloxacillin and had also mounted a leucocyte response which responded to treatment. kindly let me know if we could do any other specific investigation or any specific treatment thta could be initiated.
