Hello-

I know this is an old statement, but it bugs me everytime I review the topic with students or residents.

Is the statment in the text:

"...rate for boys with a positive family history is 1.7 × 4.1 = 6.4/1000 boys, and for girls with a positive family history, 1.7 × 19 = 32/1000 girls" really correct or is the 6.4 a typo? I get 6.97 as the product of 1/7 x 4.1...

I don't see that any erratum was ever published regarding this. Is there another factor I'm not considering?

I apologize if you have already addressed this somewhere that I just haven't noticed.

Thanks- Sharon Busey
