In the article,Impact of Education for Physicians on Patient
Outcomes, by Clark N. et al, the authors note,
"Program group clinicians were significantly more likely to report that
they spent less time with their patients than did control group
physicians." Was a distinction made between acute (crisis care) visits
and follow-up (control care) visits. Could it be that the greater time
spent by the control group physicians was due to a greater proportion of
effort spent in treating asthma crises?
