An error occurred in the AAP policy statement "Prevention and Management of Pain in the Neonate: An Update," which appeared in the November 2006 issue of Pediatrics (doi:10.1542/peds.2006-2277). The AAP Section on Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine should have been listed as an authoring entity along with the Committee on Fetus and Newborn and the Section on Surgery.
