PEDIATRICS 2006;118:906915.An error appears in the article by Robbins et al, titled "Hospitalizations of Newborns With Folate-Sensitive Birth Defects Before and After Fortification of Foods With Folic Acid" that was published in the September 2006 issue of Pediatrics(doi:10.1542/peds.2005-2784). In the Results section on page 910, the first full paragraph in column 2, lines 57, the authors wrote: "Rates of spina bifida decreased 21% for white infants, 13% for black infants, and 33% for Hispanic infants." It should read: "Rates of spina bifida decreased 13% for white infants, 21% for black infants, and 33% for Hispanic infants."
