PEDIATRICS Vol. 111 No. 5 May 2003, pp. 1127

ERRATUM

An error occurred in the article by Mazor et al titled "Interpretation of Traumatic Lumbar Punctures: Who Can Go Home?" that appeared in the March 2003 issue of Pediatrics (pages 525–528). On page 525, in the right column of the "Conclusion" part of the abstract, the second sentence in that paragraph reads: "Using these methods in children younger than 1 month, the majority of patients without meningitis can be differentiated from those with meningitis despite the CSF abnormalities associated with a traumatic LP." That sentence should now read: "Using these methods in children >1 month, the majority of patients without meningitis can be differentiated from those with meningitis despite the CSF abnormalities associated with a traumatic LP."
