The authors strongly disagree with Malozowski, because our trial1 was designed to investigate safety, not efficacy. Because a safety signal was not observed, one might question whether the drug was actually delivered to the lungs of the children. This could be proven by a concomitant effect on lung function or symptoms or measuring blood drug levels.
