PEDIATRIC HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS INFECTION: RECENT EVIDENCE ON THE UTILIZATION AND COST OF HEALTH SERVICES

Lower utilization is reported than in prior research on pediatric HIV. Increasing experience in the clinical management and expanded ambulatory care may have contributed to a reduction in inpatient services utilized and total costs since the mid 1980s.
