INDEPENDENT PARENTAL ADMINISTRATION OF PREDNISONE IN ACUTE ASTHMA: A DOUBLEBLIND, PLACEBO-CONTROLLED, CROSSOVER STUDY

A single dose of prednisone available for use at home for acute asthma did not improve asthma outcome. Instead, outpatient visits were increased. Therefore, such intervention is not recommended.
