PREDICTORS OF ATOPY IN NEWBORN BABIES

No single parameter or combination of parameters seemed suitable for general screening. However, a combination of family history, assessment of skin dryness, and cord blood IgE could be used to identify newborns at high risk of allergy for participation in prevention studies.
