We appreciate Dr Brenn's careful reading of our article and his identification of an apparent discrepancy in the sample size in Table 2. While in the text and in all other tables in the article, we had a sample size of 48, in Table 2, we had a sample size of 50. This was due to the inclusion of side effects data on two additional children who received oral transmucosal fentanyl citrate (OTFC) but were excluded from the pain data analyses because no self-report pain scores were available for them.
