1 Developmental Pediatrics, Schneider Children's Hospital, New Hyde Park, NY 11042

I am writing to express concerns about the methodology of this study and, more importantly, to express caution regarding use of the Denver II as a screening test prior to its validation.

Glascoe et al examined the accuracy of the Denver II using several different approaches to test interpretation and found that it generally led to overreferral.
