To the Editor.
I would like to comment on Dr Frank A. Oski's Letter to the Editor concerning low-iron infant formulas which appeared in the February 1992 issue of Pediatrics.1
Dr Oski's concern over the large volume of low-iron infant formula sold is shared by us at Carnation Nutritional Products. To this end, we broke with the industry practice of offering both low-iron and iron-fortified formulations when, in early 1989, we introduced Carnation Good Start and Carnation Follow-Up Formula in iron-fortified forms only.
