WOMEN'S COLLEGE RESCINDS ITS DECISION TO ADMIT MEN

OAKLAND, May 18—Bowing to pressure from a student strike supported by faculty and alumnae, the trustees of Mills College voted today to rescind their decision to admit men to the 138-year-old women's college.
