ERRATA

In the special article "Annual Summary of Vital Statistics-1988," by Wegman (Pediatrics 1989;84:943-956) the listing for Montana was omitted from Table 2. Montana should appear in the Mountain listing before Idaho; the statistics, reading across, are: 11 356 11 976 74 90 122 6.5 7.5 10.0 4.6. In Table 2, the first column under "Deaths of Infants" should read 1988, not 1987. On page 949, in the sentence "In Parallel, the death rate increased to 883 per 1 000 000, compared with 874 in 1987," 1 000 000 should read 100 000.
