FROM THE ANNALS OF HEALTH SUPERVISION

Richard C. Wasserman MD

Dr. Wasserman:

I brought my son Corey in for his 4-year checkup 1/6/89. You were talking to him about wearing seat belts. He told you that he wears one but his Mom doesn't.

When I left that day, we both put on our seat belts and minutes later we were in a car accident.

I just want to thank you for reminding us to wear a seat belt. It saved both of us from being hurt.

So a new rule in our household is when we get into a vehicle, the first thing is to make sure we have our seat belts on.
