To the Editor.
Menke and McClead (Pediatrics 1987;80:605-612) are to be complimented on providing an important insight into the expanding world of computerized databases that can be useful to pediatricians. The authors state that we are in an "information revolution"; a statement that is not an exaggeration. In a revolution, however, situations change rapidly. In fact, since their article was accepted for publication, there have been notable additions to the user-friendly searching arena. In the article, the authors mention a program available from the National Library of Medicine (NLM).
