To the Editor.
The mother of one of my patients recently called me with the following information. She had purchased some Kleenex Huggies Super-Trim Diapers. When a diaper rash developed, she tore the diaper in half and found it contained small lemon-colored gelatin-like crystals inside the diaper.
I wrote to Kimberly-Clark and they replied:
The new thin disposable diapers derive their superior absorbency from a few grams of hydrocolloidal material dispensed throughout the absorbent core.
