The pediatric community is indeed grateful to Dr Londe and appreciative of the contributions he has made throughout the years, especially in the area of BP measurement technique. The results of Dr Londe's research would suggest that the apparent difficulty pediatricians have experienced in the past in observing K5 all the way down to 0 mm Hg might be alleviated if they were to use the diaphragm of the stethoscope and apply no pressure over the brachial artery.
