In Reply.—

I sincerely appreciate the letter from Dr Sapire and his colleagues because it permits me to reemphasize the conclusion of my article "None of the suggested management strategies for these patients should be taken as an absolute rule because there may be differences of opinion among various pediatric cardiologists. Nonetheless . . . a great deal of consideration should be given to these patients." There certainly is room for disagreement on the verapamil issue, as well as other points in the article.
