In regard to your comments:

1. The parents' and teachers' check lists were indeed not the same because they were each evaluating different settings/behaviors.

2. The check lists have been standardized and are published (Melvin Levine, MD). The mood items and hyperactivity items are presented in different forms to allow for more complete evaluation.

3. School performance, as evaluated by the children's individual teachers, was adversely affected as determined by the parameters presented in the table.
