In Reply.—

Perhaps, we should not have called the nipple "gravity flow," because, as described in the manuscript, the formula is expressed through the nipple by means of a compressible plastic feeding bottle. The bottle is compressed manually in order to deliver the formula.

What we introduced was a standard nipple that does not require puncturing with extra holes, cutting with a razor blade, or altering in some other manner.
