Congenital leukemia is a rare disorder that presents many interesting clinical features.1-4 The clinical course is generally believed to be that of rapid deterioration.2-4 We present a case report of a patient with congenital leukemia and a normal karyotype who had two spontaneous regressions of the disease. The patient later responded to treatment with the acute lymphocytic leukemia regimen and is currently in remission at the age of 48 months despite CNS relapse at the age of 22 months.

CASE REPORT

A white female infant was born to a healthy 32-year old gravida 2 para 2 in December 1978. Pregnancy and delivery were unremarkable.
