The Boston Floating Hospital, the Pediatric Teaching Unit of the New England Medical Center, announces the appointment of Dr. Orvar Swenson as Surgeon in Chief on October 15, 1950. Dr. Swenson has also been appointed Associate Professor of Surgery in the Tufts College Medical School.

The Pediatric Cardiology Department of the Children's Division of the Cook County Hospital is now accepting applications for fellowships for immediate appointment. The department offers large material of both congenital and acquired diseases of the heart.
