You may not have noticed but we are in the midst of a revolution as important as the industrial revolution. Computers, microprocessors, and word processors have appeared on the pediatric scene. Your children may know more about them than you do! They can no longer be ignored. Many pediatricians are using these devices in their offices. Hospital physicians and researchers are surrounded by themon the wards, in clinical laboratories, pharmacies, and intensive care nurseries. This is just the beginning. It is probably inevitable that before long a new pediatric society with its own journal will spring up to satisfy this need.
