In nine pediatric patients with seizure disorders, aged 8 months to 16frac12 years, a single daily dose of phenobarbital was as effective in maintaining therapeutic serum concentrations as twice-daily dosing. There were no adverse reactions to the once-daily regimen, and no seizure activity occurred during the study as a result of the change in dosing pattern.
