Regarding "Pregnancy and Abortion Counseling" (Pediatrics 63:920, 1979) I wish to inquire:

1. On page 920, "Information may not be offered to anyone, including the patient's parents, without the patient's permission." I have long wondered: At what age does this apply? What is the legality (answer) to this question for California? Does it vary from state to state?

2. On page 921, "Both premature parenthood and abortion during the formative adolescent years may have serious and long-term consequences."
