Failure to Thrive

There once was a baby named Nell

Who at three weeks we could tell

Her growth was small hardly an ounce at all

Breast milk wasn't doing so well

Her mother was quite well endowed

but when watching of feeding was allowed

A scar so neat was below each teat

To mark where the Surgeon had ploughed

I wanted them smaller, said she

So they explained the complications to me

It all sounded so simple, (no sensation to the nipple)
