It is difficult to reply to Dr. Browder's comments for he suggests that I said certain things in my paper that I did not say and he suggests that I should have said other things which I did state in the paper.

I do not feel that the field of learning disorders is outside the expertise of the physician. I refer to the physician as key to the coordinated efforts to help these children. My purpose in reviewing the literature was to assist the family physician.
